Revital Super beta-carotene contains the combination of antioxidants (beta-carotene, vitamin C, vitamin E, selenium, lutein, zeaxantine), which protect skin and eyes from harmful effects of solar radiation.
Antioxidants are capable of protecting human organism from free radicals, which have a harmful effect on body cells. Antioxidants influence free radicals in such manner that they neutralize them by attaching to their free electrons. By destroying free radicals, antioxidants help to detoxicate and protect organism.
Beta-carotene (provitamin A) favorably affects skin. It provides good protection from harmful radiation, which is one of the sources of free radicals, and by this ensures natural and healthy tan of the skin and gives it the desirable bronze shade. Vitamin E positively affects cell regeneration and rejuvenates skin; selenium slows down the ageing process. Vitamin C plays a significant role in a number of life processes. Among others, it speeds up healing of wounds and is indispensable for the production of collagen, which provides for healthy, elastic and firm skin. The marigold extract is a natural source of lutein and zeaxantine which, thanks to their antioxidizing effects, protect eyes - they function as filters of the adverse effects of sunshine, protect the retina and the lens and thus contribute to the preservation of sharp vision.
