DiaSweet with chromium is a light sweetener containing chromium (chromium picolinate) and sucralose as a sweetening substance.
The sucralose is a light, highly intensive sweetener newly introduced to the Czech market made from sugar, tasting as sugar and without subsequent aftertaste. It has 600x greater sweetness than sugar. It does not result in tooth decay. The sucralose has no influence on the metabolism of sugars or on a short-term or long-term level of glucose in blood and is therefore suitable even for diabetics. It is also suitable for persons on a slimming diet.
The sucralose is stable and therefore in high temperatures it is suitable for baking, preservation and in any other processes requiring high temperature, it is suitable for sweetening the warm and cold drinks, for souces, cakes, milk products etc.
The chromium, a part of the GTF (glucose tolerance factor), is an important trace mineral. It helps to use the amino acids, speeds up the synthesis of proteins and has a positive influence on the metabolic processes. It strengthens the effects of insulin and stabilizes the balance of the organism. The insulin, as an important hormone of our metabolism, regulates not only the level of sugars but also fats and proteins in the blood circulation. It contributes to the creation of muscles and reduction of body fat. It can help with respect to the diabetes and hypoglycemia. The lack of chromium has a negative impact on the mental health, can lead to the occurrence of anxious disorders, tiredness, glucose intolerance, unbalanced metabolism of the amino acids and increased danger of arteriosclerosis.
