ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
VITAR is fully aware of its share in influencing the quality of environment and for that reason it decided to implement an environmental management system as an indivisible part of its quality management system, which was confirmed on 23 December 2005 by means of the ISO 14001:2004 and ISO 9001:2000 certifications.
VITAR, s.r.o. undertakes to observe the valid provisions of all legal regulations, i.e. laws, government notices and regulations related to the protection of environment, to reduce the impacts of its activities and products on the environment, to implement precautionary and economical measures in the area of energy and raw material consumption and the creation and use of waste.

GREEN POINT
On the packaging of VITAR, s.r.o. products is located the GREEN POINT mark, which is a trademark and symbolises that an allowance was paid for that packaging to an organisation ensuring further use of packaging waste. There is only one such organisation in the Czech Republic - the EKO-KOM, a.s., an authorised packaging company that provides for joint fulfilment of the obligation to collect and use packaging waste.
This is ensured by means of a system of collection of sorted waste in municipalities and by means of entities entitled to treat waste. EKO-KOM, a.s. does not physically handle packaging waste but takes part in financing the costs connected with the collection, transportation, sorting and use of packaging waste.
Only clients of this company are entitled to use the GREEN POINT mark. VITAR, s.r.o. participates in the EKO-KOM, a.s system by contract.
